What an exciting way to start your day. We have made the cover of Albany’s Metroland! Journalist Raurri Jennings crafted up a beautiful article about our new album and us as a band. Please check it out!
And just 2 days away, we open for the legendary Dirty Dozen Brass Band at Massry Center of for the Arts! Get there early, we hit at 720p.
Happy New Year All! We will be playing this Saturday around 930p at Red Square Albany. Red Square has ample parking and is located at 388 Broadway. Turkuaz, a great Brooklyn-based funk ensemble is headlining. Ya’ll need to come on out and have fun with us! Tickets are $10 at the door and $7 pre-order. You can get your pre-order tickets here:
We would like to thank our family, friends and fans for coming out this past Friday to help us win Downtown Albany’s Jazz Festival Competition. Without you, we would not be here. We went on to play the Riverfront Jazz Festival the next day, which was a blast. Unfortunately, the latter half of it got canceled due to weather (as well as the Local Legends Live! concert). Luckily, we got to play our set, as well as Way Down and the very talented Pedrito Martinez Group.
There is one show this month in Schenectady, NY at the Moon and River Cafe. We will be paying homage to the notorious John Coltrane in a weekend long celebration and remembrance of his life in music. The date is September 23rd (J. Coltrane’s bday) and our performance time is yet to be determined. THIS WILL BE OUR LAST SHOW before our CD RELEASE PARTY this fall.
Once again, THANK YOU TO OUR FANS! Here’s a free download from this past weekend’s Riverfront Jazz Festival:
